Deine Reifen rollen bei Sonnenuntergang über den heißen Asphalt. Das Gummi klebt am Teer wie der Honig am Löffel, Polizeisirenen in der Ferne mischen sich mit dem süßen Klang der Motoren.

La Brea, Heitechs neuster Streich kommt gänzlich ohne samples aus, was eher untypisch ist, hört man sich die Veröffentlichungen der letzten Jahre an. Zäh wie flüssiger Teer schmelzen saftige Synthesizer über ein grob gemeißeltes Fundament aus stolpernden drums und einem satten Bass der das ganze Konstrukt antreibt wie eine alte Diesel Lokomotive.
